WHY USE 2 DIFFERENT NAMES?

This is used as a marketing tool. Some of our clients in the past have been interested in a more conservative name for their entertainment needs. This led us to developing the Eric Walters Orchestra. We have been working hard at this endeavor and now 75 % of our jobs are booked under the orchestra title. However Big Eric & the Budget Crunch lives on and performs at casino's and corporate functions through out the year.

WHAT DO YOU WEAR?

MOST parties are formal so tuxedoes are usually the first choice. At summer events at yacht clubs or country clubs we sometimes dress with blue blazers and khaki pants, a nice alternative to formal wear is a dark suit. We also wear contemporary styles for events that are more fashionably conscious.

DO YOU PLAY SWING?

DEFINITELY swing is an important part of any event. It appeals to just about everyone We play the new artists as well as all the old classic's.

WHAT ABOUT MUSIC FOR CEREMONIES OR THE COCKTAIL HOUR?

YES we do both. We can play traditional classical music by Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach or Clark etc... From solo piano to string or brass quartet, harp soloist, piano and flute/violin. There are many options. We will help you make the right choice for your event.

HOW MANY MUSICIANS DO I NEED?

7-10 is the average size band. This will include a horn section and a female and male vocalist.

DO YOU GUYS ROCK?

Without a doubt. Your guests will dance all night long.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TOGETHER?

I have been the band leader for 20 years +. We have performed in at least 2000 events.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

We do. If the distance is more than 60 miles from New York City there is a travel surcharge.

SHOULD WE FEED THE BAND?

YES its important to provide a meal, travel and setup time plus the event can take 8 hours or more.

CAN MY FRIEND SING AT THE CEREMONY/PARTY?

YES but we need to discuss this in advance.

CAN YOU PLAY OVERTIME?

We frequently do.

WHY DO YOU SOUND BETTER THAN OTHER BANDS?

We use arrangements written and orchestrated specifically for our group by Dave Schroeder, a partner in our organization, and we really care about music.We have the versatility to recreate all musical styles in an authentic presentation.

We usually try to arrive 2 hours prior to the start of the event.
